Laura, do your children speak Russian? I noticed that their region is nearer to Russia. My son is from Kharkiv and that is even closer to Russia. My daughter was adopted from Veenitsa (sp?) which is more central Ukraine and they spoke Ukrainian and Russian there.
I think Eastern Ukraine mostly speaks Russian and Western Ukraine speaks mostly Ukrainian.
Laura, do you know when you will be coming home?
